Designer's Notes

The Ava Necklace pairs delicate freshwater pearls with an ornate heart pendant, cast in 18K Yellow Gold Over Stainless Steel. The pearls lead the eye down the chain in soft, irregular intervals before settling at the heart, the clear focal point of the piece. A lobster clasp closes the chain with quiet precision.

With my everyday stack, the first wear was enough to know I'd keep this necklace. I wore it for brunch. My small complaint is that the detail is more subtle than it looked online. I keep coming back to the detailing. A second try with a black dress left me with a different view, and I found a way of wearing it that suited me.

The fit needed experimenting

Before a dinner with nothing else added, I liked this necklace more, though I still saw one small drawback. It is slightly more delicate than I expected, but still very wearable. I still consider it a very good buy.

The detail won me over
