Warranty
Warranty Policy
Effective Date: July 11, 2026
This Warranty Policy applies to purchases made through lavieenrosejewels.com.
1 – Our Confidence Guarantee (1-Year Limited Warranty)
At La Vie en Rose Jewelry, we stand behind the quality of every piece we offer. Each item is carefully inspected before it ships from us.
Our 18K Gold Vermeil, Sterling Silver, and stainless steel pieces are water-resistant for everyday wear, including handwashing, light rain, and sweat. Remove these pieces before swimming, showering, or prolonged water exposure, and avoid chlorine, salt water, and harsh chemicals. Incidental water exposure from ordinary everyday wear (handwashing, rain, sweat) alone will not void the warranty for these pieces; damage caused by swimming, prolonged water exposure, chlorine, salt water, or harsh chemicals is not covered. This water resistance does not extend to Fine Jewelry (14K gold and diamond pieces) or to any piece featuring pearls, genuine or imitation, which remain sensitive to water and chemical exposure — see our Care Guide & Repair Policy for material-specific care.
Pieces identified on the applicable product page or your order confirmation as carrying our “1-Year Limited Warranty” are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of delivery (the “Warranty Period”). This warranty covers manufacturing defects that manifest during normal use within the Warranty Period, including issues such as loose stones, faulty clasps, or defective chains that result from a defect present at the time of delivery, even if not immediately visible when your order first arrives.
We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a reported issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty. A valid proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required for all warranty claims. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Pieces not identified as carrying the 1-Year Limited Warranty, along with permanent (welded) jewelry, custom pieces, and discounted or final-sale items, are not eligible for this warranty unless the product page or order confirmation expressly states otherwise.
2 – What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- Normal wear and tear, discoloration, fading, or scratches.
- Damage due to misuse, accidents, exposure to harsh chemicals, unauthorized repairs, or improper care.
- Water damage to Fine Jewelry (14K gold, diamonds) or to pieces featuring pearls, and water damage to Gold Vermeil, Sterling Silver, or stainless steel pieces resulting from swimming, prolonged water exposure, chlorine, salt water, or harsh chemicals — see the water-resistance note in Section 1.
- Items lost or stolen after the shipping carrier confirms delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.
See our Care Guide & Repair Policy for how to care for your specific metal and stones.
3 – Shipping Damage or Order Issues (A Separate, Shorter Process)
This section is not part of the warranty above. It's a separate, shorter process that applies only to issues visible when your order first arrives — not to manufacturing defects that show up later.
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you notice visible shipping damage, a missing item, or the wrong item, contact us at support@lavieenrosejewels.com within five (5) business days of delivery, with your order number and photos. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund under this receiving-inspection process.
This 5-business-day window is about shipping and fulfillment issues only. It does not shorten or limit your 1-Year Limited Warranty in Section 1 — a manufacturing defect that shows up in month 3 or month 11 is still covered.
4 – How to File a Claim
- Email support@lavieenrosejewels.com with your order number, proof of purchase, and photos of the issue — at any time during your 1-Year Warranty Period for a manufacturing defect, or within 5 business days of delivery for a shipping or receiving issue (Section 3).
- Our quality-control team will review your claim and confirm next steps.
- If approved, we will, at our discretion, repair the item, replace it with a comparable item of equal value, or issue store credit equivalent to the item's value.
Customers may be responsible for shipping the item to us while a warranty claim is under review. If the claim is approved as a covered manufacturing defect, La Vie en Rose Jewelry will provide or reimburse standard return shipping and will complete the approved repair, replacement, or store-credit resolution at no charge.
5 – After the Warranty Period
Once the Warranty Period ends, we're happy to facilitate repairs for a reasonable service fee, based on the nature of the repair and material availability. See our Care Guide & Repair Policy for repair request instructions and typical turnaround times.
6 – Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after a delivery has been accepted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, La Vie en Rose Jewelry’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or store credit value of the original purchase price of the product, at our discretion.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary by state or country. It is provided in addition to, and does not replace, the Limited Warranty and Disclaimer of Warranties sections of our Terms and Conditions.
