A quick reference for finding the right ring size and the right necklace length, so what arrives fits the way you expected.

Rings — How to Measure Your Finger

Finger size can shift slightly with temperature and time of day, so measure in the evening when your hands are at their largest, and avoid measuring right after being in the cold.

• String or paper strip method: Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of the finger you'll wear the ring on. Mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters. That number is your finger's circumference — match it to the table below.
• Existing ring method: Take a ring that already fits the intended finger well and measure the inside diameter in millimeters (straight across the inner circle, not around it). Match that diameter to the table below.
• When in doubt, size up slightly: A ring that's a touch loose is more comfortable day to day than one that's tight — and easier for us to help resize.

Rings — US Size & Millimeter Conversion

This is a standard reference chart. Ring sizing can vary slightly by band width and style, so for a piece you want to get exactly right the first time, a printable ring sizer or an in-person measurement at a local jeweler will be more precise than a string or paper measurement.

Each ring's available sizes are listed on its product page — sizes shown there reflect what's currently in stock for that design.

Rings — Adjustable & Open Bands

Several of our ring designs are open or adjustable rather than a fixed, closed band — this is noted in the "Closure" line of the product's Details section. These are designed to yield gently to fit a small range around the labeled size, rather than requiring an exact one.

• Adjusting the fit: Gently press the open ends of the band together to size down, or ease them apart to size up. Make small adjustments and check the fit as you go, rather than bending it into place in one motion.
• Don't over-adjust: Repeatedly bending the band wider than a comfortable, natural range can weaken the metal over time or distort the design. If a ring feels like it needs a large adjustment to fit, it's likely not the right base size — email us and we can help you choose a different one.
• Keep the shape: Adjustable bands hold their fit best when they aren't forced on and off over the knuckle repeatedly. Slide them on with the opening facing up, and store them in their original shape when not worn.

Necklaces — Length Guide

Necklace length changes where a piece sits and what it pairs well with. Here's how each length falls, from a snug choker to a longer layering piece:

• 14" — Choker: Sits snug at the base of the neck. Best on its own, or as the shortest layer in a stack.
• 16" — Collar: Rests right at the collarbone. A classic shorter length that works well layered over a higher neckline.
• 18" — Princess: Falls just below the collarbone. This is our most-worn length — the most versatile with most necklines.
• 20" — Matinee: Sits at the top of the chest, a couple of inches longer than Princess. Good for lower necklines or as the longest piece in a layered look.
• 22": A touch longer than Matinee, sitting just at the top of the chest with a bit more drape. Works well layered under a blazer or open collar.
• 24": The longest length shown here, resting with visible drape at the top of the chest — a good base layer for a stacked, multi-necklace look.

Currently, most of our necklaces are a single fixed length, and our longest in-stock option runs up to 22". The 24" shown above is included for reference on how the length falls, and may not be available on every design — check each product page for the exact length(s) offered.

Necklaces — How Extenders Work

Some of our necklace designs include a 2" to 3" extender chain at the clasp end — noted on the product page when present. An extender is a short length of additional chain ending in a small adjustable loop rather than a fixed final link.

• For the necklace's full listed length: Attach the clasp to the very end link of the extender.
• For a shorter, snugger fit: Attach the clasp to the adjustable loop closer to the main chain — this shortens the necklace by up to the extender's full length.
• Layering: An extender is also useful for fine-tuning where a piece sits when layering it with other necklaces of slightly different lengths.
